My Pongal (Thanksgiving in my culture) gave me so much sweetness. Much sweeter than the sugarcane and the traditional sweets we make for the occasion. Even sweeter because I had to work long hours and could not make pongal that day. My best buddies at home, my DH and son, said "Don't worry we always have the weekend!"
And then we found the box of books...
